Fuji Textile Week – 2023
Description
In the last year I’ve been involved in connecting Fuji Textile Week to dutch textile artists. As part of this, I organized a field trip to The Netherlands for the organizers of Fuji Textile Week 2023. I contacted different organizations and designers in The Netherlands and did the logistic planning.
Reflection
I gained experience in planning and organizing. I also gained knowledge on the field of textile and art and how Fuji Textile Week uses this to rebuild the old town of Fujiyoshida. This kind of urban transformation which they are doing through art is very interesting and inspiring to me.
